Monthly meetup - Third-Party Assurance processes for better business

For this months Jersey meetup, Andre Gorvel will be talking to us about TPRM and how he's been using OSINT tools to help bring this to life (I promise we'll all go for a drink at the Forum after too!). Talk synopsis as follows:

Traditional Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) is hitting a breaking point. For regulated industries and critical infrastructure providers, the stakes of a supply chain breach aren’t just financial—they are existential.

This session explores the third-party assurance processes detailing the internal structure encompassing Legal and Compliance as well as Information security. I will show "point-in-time" compliance and the emergence of "continuous" operational resilience. We will dissect the Traditional Approach, characterised by spreadsheets and self-reported questionnaires, highlighting why these methods often provide a false sense of security and how to overcome the this.
