Our Speaker Dave Cartwright, Chair of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum will be looking at how Open Source fans are keen to shout about how we can use it in our organisations. But do real companies actually really use it? Is it a genuine alternative to propiretary applications? And if we do use it, how do we integrate it into our environments and ensure it is properly managed, patched and secure? We'll take a real-world look at how we should think of Open Source.
Virtual attendance is via zoom. Please do not sign up for a physical ticket if you intend to join virtually.
This is our monthly event co-hosted with Islands Data Governance Forum and BCS Jersey.
